Max has a few chompers now, and he likes to use them to crunch fruity cheerios and ritz crackers. He's not walking yet, but he can crawl in both "normal" and "turbo boost" modes. He and Ava get along well, they are constantly giggling at each other and playing together.

There are probably happier kids in the world, but I have not actually met them. Max likes to smile, especially at pretty women. I'm thinking to offset the costs of parenthood, Liz and I could rent him out to single guys to use as an icebreaker. Walk up to the good-looking chick at the local bar, whip out your Max, let him smile and google at her, bam you're in business.

Max is doing great. He is growing like a weed. He likes to grin and he sort of laughs - kind of like a "Hahhhhhh". He likes to watch Ava running around like a maniac, but he doesn't really get excited about anything. Unless you sort of delay his feeding - now that's a problem. He rarely cries, he is more of a grunter. I grunted until I got married, so presumably he just inherited that from me. The other day he caught a fly out of midair with a pair of chopsticks. I am pretty sure this means he is going to be a professional athlete (my psychic agrees).

Sorry for the gimpy webpage, but I'm pretty tired and just wanted to get the word out. We got to come home from the hosptial this evening, and everybody is doing well.
